TPS Granted to Haitians by USCIS on January 15, 2010.
Homeland Security Secretary Janet Napolitano has announced the designation of Temporary Protected Status (TPS) for eligible Haitian nationals who were in the Untied States as of January 12, 2010. This designation will allow eligible Haitian nationals in the United States to remain in the U.S. and receive Employment Authorization for at least the next 18 months.
